The Pretty Reckless and Heaven’s Basement brought their classic rock sounds to the Paradise on November 11. Boston was the last stop on the Going to Hell Tour. The Pretty Reckless headlined the tour to promote their upcoming sophomore album.
They played many of their popular songs off of Light Me Up such as “Zombie,” “Make Me Wanna Die’” and “Medicine”. They also played a lot of songs off their new album including “Kill Me” and “Going to Hell”. Taylor Momsen never fails to capture the crowd with her powerful voice and strong performances.
British Band Heaven’s Basement played a great set before The Pretty Reckless took the stage. This being the last stop on their first U.S. tour, they were very pumped up before their set. They definitely brought everything they had.
The crowd was wired throughout the entire set. The band’s passion shows, not only through their music, but through their performance as well. All of the guys had a ton of energy, and you could see how much fun they were having. The crowd really got into it when vocalist Aaron Buchanan walked on top of the crowd.
These guys have dedicated their lives to music, and it has paid off. Their debut album was released last February, and everyone should own a copy. Heaven’s Basement deserves every ounce of attention they get.
