The Devil Wears Prada Embark on New Mission

Metalcore veterans The Devil Wears Prada have been making music for 10 years now, in that time they’ve put out 5 full length albums, two EP’s and gained a significant amount of experience on some of the largest tours in the last decade.

One of the things that sets The Devil Wears Prada apart from their peers is their attention to detail. Earlier this summer after wrapping up on the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival tour, the band released their second EP, “Space” which hit the charts at number 32 on the Billboard 200. “Space” is their follow up to the 2010 EP “Zombie” which has become one of the band’s most heralded releases.

For many bands EP releases are just a way to release some unused songs from their catalog to help keep up interested between album releases. But for Devil Wears Prada, they pour just as much work, into their EPs. Space is a 6 track, 20 minute conceptual journey revolving around the idea of outer space and the ideas that stem from it. The Space EP even includes an instrumental track on it, something TDWP have rarely done in the past. Space is a new chapter for The Devil Wears Prada as they evolve from their early metalcore roots to a more mature, heavy sound.

The Devil Wears Prada are next heading out on the Appollo X tour with Motionless in White, Upon a Burning Body, The Color Morale, and The Word Alive. The tour begins this Friday in Huntington, NY and runs through November 20th, where it will wrap up at Mill City Nights in Minneapolis, MN.

You can catch the tour in Boston, MA on Monday, October 19th at House of Blues Boston. Tickets aviaible via TicketMaster HERE.
