Tomorrow afternoon, much of the greater Boston area's attention will be focused on Fenway Park where the Boston Red Sox play their first home game of 2018, a de facto holiday in this region. But once the ballgame is over, if you're looking to keep the good times rolling, Philadelphia rockers, Mo Lowda & The Humble have the answer to your prayers. Recently, they released their highly anticipated new album Creatures, on March 13th of this year.
Speaking on the new album, lead vocalist and guitarist Jordan Caiola shares, “Creatures is a collection of tightly arranged songs detailed by intricate melodies, overdriven guitars and bass, thick drums, and raspy vocals. The lyrical subject matter ranges from introspective accounts of heartache to tales of greed, homelessness, gambling abuse, and a country’s struggle with gun violence.”
Additionally, the band just put out a video of themselves performing the song "6-7" from the new album live and acoustic.
The self-produced 10-track album comes on the heels of Mo Lowda & The Humble playing 100 shows nationwide last year. Known for energetic live performances, the band has embarked on a new North American tour in support of the album. The tour current leg of tour ends in Washington D.C on May 17.
Mo Lowda & The Humble play The Middle East Upstairs on April 5th at 8pm, tickets start at $!0 and are available HERE
