Canadian rockers Bleeker began their career as Bleeker Ridge in 2003. But after two studio albums and over a decade of touring the group underwent a serious lineup change. Founding members and brothers Dan and Dustin Steinke both left the band within a few months of each other. Left in a tough position, the remaining members elected to carry on and simplify their name to just Bleeker.
The now three piece band would go on to release a new album in late 2016 titled “Erase You” on the record label Five Seven Music. Since then the band has been touring at a furious pace and found success behind the single “Highway” which climbed to number 11 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart.
Bleeker are currently on the road co-headlining with fellow rockers Beware of Darkness on a North American Tour. The band blends post grunge and blues rock for a sound that is unique and modern, blending together some of the best elements of the finest bands in the last two decades.
Bleeker and Beware of Darkness are playing the ONCE Ballroom in Somerville, MA on Monday, May 1st at 8pm. Tickets are available HERE
