Icelandic alt-rockers Kaleo are currently wrapping up the US leg of their headlining fall tour "The Kaleo Express," before heading to Europe for shows in London, Glasgow, Berlin, Prague and the band's first ever performance in Russia. Last night the tour was in Boston, MA at the House of Blues on Lansdowne St. where a sold out crowd greeted the band. Since the release of their debut album "A/B," Kaleo has been gaining momentum and building up a buzz with their distinctive fusion of alternative rock, bluesy melodies, and alt country twang. To date, Kaleo’s “A/B” has sold over 440,000 albums worldwide and more than 1.2 million single sales. Total worldwide streams of their album have surpassed 100 million. Last night the capacity Boston crowd was enthralled with every minute of the band’s 14 song performance that included hits such as “All the Pretty Girls” and “Way Down We Go.” Opening for Kaleo on Monday night were ZZ Ward and Wilder.
