Editor's note: Philadelphia based rock band Soraia kicked off their tour in support of their new record "Dead Reckoning" last night in Boston, MA. The show played out as a classic intimate bar rock show, the kind where by the end of the set, the band and everyone in the audience are dripping with sweat from an evening of intensity. Soraia lead singer ZouZou Mansour brought the energy of a vocalist on stage at a major rock festival, walking into the crowd to sing and interact during their set. Soraia recently released their latest single from the upcoming album, "Quicksand" which they performed last night during the late part of their set. Seeing Soraia perform is akin to getting a killer deal on tickets to a big rock show, their energy, intensity, sound and charm is every bit as strong as something you'd see on a much bigger stage but all jammed into an intimate, hot, sweaty rock & roll gig that was a true classic.
