Today, Thrice are kicking off their fall co-headline tour with Circa Survive. Earlier this year the band wrapped their summer dates, sharing the stage with Deftones and Rise Against. After a short break and two performances at the Sonic Boom and Louder Than Life festivals, Thrice are back for a major fall tour November playing their last shows before returning to the studio to start recording their tenth album. This run takes the group across North America, kicking off in San Jose, CA tonight and finishing in Minneapolis, MN co-headlining with Circa Survive and with CHON and Balance and Composure as the support acts.
Thrice, the legendary post-hardcore band from Irvine, CA first rose to prominence during the emo/post-hardcore boom in the 2000’s, in 2012 they called it a day with the future of the band uncertain. However in 2016, the group reunited to release a new album, “To Be Everywhere, Is To Be Nowhere” a monster comeback album which landed them at number 15 on the Billboard 200, and No. 1 on the US Vinyl albums charts upon its release last year. Since then Thrice have been furiously touring in support of the album.
Thrice’s next album is expected next year, stay tuned for more news to come.
